STEEL HARDENED ASH
The Traditional wood used in baseball a well-made ash bat still has a lot to offer. Turned at slow speeds from only the finest split stock quality hand-selected white ash billets from second-growth forests being regenerated each year. We hand sort and select our ash billets to properly showcase what made ash the wood of choice for so many years. 10% better on impact then maple and 5% harder than birch. Ash is more forgiving when hitting outside the sweet spot. With less than 8 straight grains per inch, Steel Hardened Ash can pack a punch at the plate.
